A personalised and interactive book that uses a mixture of PECS symbols, personal photos and text.
A great way to teach WH questions and practice sharing the days experiences. Encouraging the user to talk about where they have been, who they have been with, what activities they have done and how they felt.
The symbols in this book will be customised to the user, so it will relate to things the user will usually do at the weekend or holidays.
Instructions for use:
At the end of each day or activity, the user is encouraged to choose symbols from each category that relates to their day and share them on the main page. There are 3 categories that can be fully personalised to include symbols and photos that are relevant to the user so no two books are the same.
Both books include the following categories:
- People (15 personalised symbols)
- Activities (15 personalised symbols)
- Places (15 personalised symbols)
- Feelings (15 prefixed symbols)
Each book includes:
- Personalised photo and name on the front cover
- choice of fun covers to choose from
- phone number on the back cover
- Approximately A4 size
- Portrait orientation
- coil binding
- velcro’d symbols (hook)
- velcro on book surface (loop)
- rounded edges
- Mat laminate
- 250 GSM card stock
Once payment is received we will email an order form. Here you can personalise what symbols you would like. Once completed return the form with any photo's snd text you would like to include. We will email you a draft copy of the book before it is made to ensure all information is correct.
