Self regulation activity

If your student struggles with self-regulation, this activity can help teach how to get their bodies into a ‘just right’ state and ready for learning. 

The idea is that a student can learn to recognise their arousal state and internal engine of their body which is split into 3 zones. They also learn what actions they can take to get themselves into the ‘just right’ zone or which ever zone they need to be in depending on an activity. 

1. Each activity set includes:
2. 1 x A4 size visual for displaying their internal arousal zone
3. 1 x Velcro storage book to store all the activity symbols
4. 30 x customised symbols of your choice. Each displaying a different activity to help self regulate. (Eg: listen to music) Each symbol can display both written text with either a photo or PECS image. Please add the text or photo you would like to add for each symbol when ordering, otherwise a generic PECS image will be used. Alternatively you can email us those details if you prefer.
